The marble industry tremendously helped bring in income for the small little settlement in the 1930’s. It helped bring in commercial quarrying and not only did it bring money but it brought people to the city searching for work. So the people would find work at the quarries and live there. The industry basically had a part in helping build the city up from the ground.

As the 2020 Coronavirus pandemic spread across the globe, held up in a Brooklyn highrise, Alexander, Sarah and friend, Joe, escaped to Sarah’s childhood home in Vermont, set on 10 acres in the mountains. Upon arrival it was said that it felt like a safe house as the wood stove heated the home daily. Six months later A Maple Kiss was born, spontaneously, with just a month of planning with family.

I have learned this, at least by my experiment, that if one advances confidently in the direction of their dreams, endeavors to live the life that they have imagined, they will meet with success unexpected in common hours.
